What a tragedy, a catastrophe, feeling alone around so many
But don't feel sorry for me now...

… I've kicked cans through the loneliest heartlands
I never stopped to understand
It was a mirage, it was camouflaged, it was somebody else's
I was only getting in the way...

… Sometimes I can't help but think
There's no place in this world for me
I'm never where I want to be
There's no place in this world for me...

...My tongue twists for a sliver of purpose
Looking for words that don't exist
So I can say what I need to say
When my thoughts are at war
With the way they felt before...
